E3: Playstation 3 TV / Video service has gone live

It was announced and promised to release today and Sony has lived up to their word. The Playstation store TV / Video service has gone live with all the videos that were shown at Sony’s Keynote today. Enjoy the new service.

Since the launch of the Playstation 3 in November of 2006, over 9 million people have registered for the Playstation Network and over 170 millions downloads have been performed from the PS3 and PSP combined. On another note, Sony has also announced that it will be launching its own downloadable movie service this Summer to compete with Microsoft’s current service on Xbox LIVE.
